How to add and manage credit vendors

Jupiter lets loan officers securely store credit vendor credentials and pull credit reports directly from inside a loan application. Jupiter currently supports Xactus, Advantage Credit, and Advantage Credit Interlink as credit vendors. Support for additional vendors will be added soon.

Prerequisite: You must already have an account with the credit vendor before adding it to Jupiter. Please contact the vendor directly to create your account.

With this feature, loan officers can:

  • Add credit vendor credentials to a Jupiter account.

  • Pull credit reports directly from a loan application.

  • Select which saved credentials to use for each borrower.

  • Submit credit reports to lenders as part of the loan process.

How to add a credit vendor

Adding a credit vendor saves your Xactus or Advantage Credit credentials securely against your Jupiter user account so you can reuse them on any loan file. The full path is Your Account → Credit vendor settings → Add credit vendor.

1. Click your initials or profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen, then select Your Account.

2. Select Credit vendor settings from the left-hand menu.

3. Click Add credit vendor

4. Select your credit vendor (Xactus, Advantage Credit, or Advantage Credit Interlink) from the dropdown, enter your username and password for that vendor, then click Save.

Once saved, your credentials are stored securely in your Jupiter account and the new vendor appears in your Credit vendor settings list. You can now use those credentials when pulling credit on any loan file.


How do I use a credit vendor in a loan application?

After adding at least one credit vendor, you can choose which vendor and which saved credentials to use each time you pull credit for a borrower.

  • Open any loan application.

  • When you pull credit, select the saved credit vendor and credential set you want to use from the available options.

  • Pull the credit report. Jupiter includes the report in the loan file for lender submission.

The selected vendor's credit report is attached to the loan file and is available to submit to the lender as part of the loan package.


Where do I get help with my credit vendor account?

Jupiter does not manage your credit vendor account itself — for set-up, billing, password resets, or report-format questions, contact the vendor directly using the details below.

Which credit vendors does Jupiter currently support?

Jupiter currently supports three credit vendors: Xactus, Advantage Credit, and Advantage Credit Interlink. Support for additional vendors will be added in future releases.

Do I need an existing account with the credit vendor before adding it to Jupiter?

Yes, you must already have an account with the credit vendor before adding it to Jupiter. Jupiter does not create vendor accounts on your behalf — contact Xactus or Advantage Credit directly using the contact information above to set up your account first, then return to Jupiter to add your credentials.

Where are my credit vendor credentials stored after I add them?

Your credit vendor credentials are stored securely in your Jupiter account once saved, and are reusable across loan files without re-entering them each time.

Can multiple team members or credential sets be used on the same loan file?

Yes, Jupiter supports multiple saved credit vendor credential sets, so when you pull credit you can select which saved vendor and which credential set to use. This is useful when multiple team members or credential sets are available within the same Jupiter account.

Can I choose which credit vendor to use for each borrower?

Yes, when you pull credit inside a loan application, you can select which saved credit vendor and credential set to use for that specific borrower. The selected vendor's report is included in that loan file for lender submission.

How do I actually pull a credit report once my vendor is added?

Who do I contact for Xactus or Advantage Credit account issues?

For credit-vendor account issues (logins, password resets, billing, report formatting), contact the vendor directly. For Xactus, use support@xactus.com for technical issues and xactusbilling@xactus.com for billing. For Advantage Credit, use Tech@advcredit.com or call 800-670-7993. Jupiter support cannot reset vendor passwords or resolve vendor billing questions.
