How to set up your account

Let's get started! The first thing you need to do is to complete your personal details to get you on your way with Jupiter.


How to enter personal details into "Your account"

1. When logged into Jupiter, hover over your initials or picture on the top right hand of the screen. This will reveal a menu.

2. Click on "Your account". You will be taken to your account settings where you can fill in your personal details.

3. Upload a picture for your Jupiter profile by clicking on “Upload a picture”. A window will open allowing you to select which photo you’d like to upload.

💡Tip: We recommend a picture that is square with your face centered in it.

4. Enter your account information (phone number, title) in the fields provided. Make sure to save your changes!

3. Enter your phone number and title and click on "Save changes".

Now when you login to Jupiter, you will see your profile picture on the top right of the screen. Clicking this picture will open up a menu to access your profile to make changes in the future and allows you to sign out of Jupiter.


What is the difference between the team application link and the personal application link?

Jupiter automatically gives you your own application links that you can send directly to borrowers to take them straight into the application process. When a borrower signs up through the "Team application link", Jupiter will assign loans to those who are set-up in the Loan Settings -> Loan Assignment section.

When a borrower signs up through your personal application link, the loan is automatically assigned to you. You can choose to customize or shorten this link.

These links are sent to your borrowers, pasted into a social media post or embedded onto your website where loan officers go to apply for a mortgage.

Note: The personal application link should be used when there are multiple loan officers on one team to ensure borrowers are assigned to the correct loan officer when an application is submitted.


How to find your team application link and personal application link?

1. To find your links or access your personal information, click on your profile picture or initials on the top right hand side of the screen. In the menu, you can click to copy your links as a shortcut, or click on "Your account" where they are also displayed.

2. If you choose "Your account" scroll down the page until you find "Team". Click on the copy icon to copy the link and it will be autosaved to your clipboard so you can insert it in an email or text.


How to customize your personal application link

1. Click on your picture/initials in the top right of your screen and select "Your account"

2. Scroll down the page until you find "Team"

3. Click on "Create personalized short link"

4. Enter the text you'd like to change your link to and click on "Save changes". That will be your personal application link going forward.

Important: The customized link text that you decide on can only be used once so if you change it later and want to put it back it won't be possible.
