How to delete or hide a borrower from a loan or change a primary borrower to a secondary borrower

Written by Marnie George

Jupiter allows you to delete a secondary borrower in the application, however you cannot remove the primary (first listed) borrower. You can also choose to delete or hide a borrower from the loan. If you choose to hide a borrower, that information will not be submitted to the lender.

How to delete or hide a borrower

1. Click into the Application

2. Select "Borrower" from the top menu and click on the three dots next to the borrowers name.

3. Choose "Delete" or "Hide from loan" from the drop down menu. If you choose "Hide from loan" that borrowers information will not be submitted with the loan to the lender.

Screenshot: Displays the Borrowers tab of a loan application, with the dropdown menu opened for a secondary borrower showing the Invite, Hide from loan, Make primary, and Delete options.

Once removed you cannot retrieve their information on that loan. You can however, re-invite them to the loan as an "existing borrower" and have them fill in the application again.

Important: You cannot delete a primary borrower. If the delete option does not appear in the drop down menu next to the borrower's name, select a different borrower to make the primary borrower and then follow the steps above to delete.
