Your account holds sensitive borrower and loan data—keeping it secure is essential. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a secondary verification step at login, so only you can access your account even if your password is compromised.
Jupiter takes your data security seriously and supports three MFA methods that you can choose from:
Method | Security | Best for |
Passkey (Recommended) | Excellent | Fastest login, no codes |
Authenticator app (Recommended) | Very good | Stronger protection, works offline |
Email verification | Good | Simplest setup |
Important: To help protect your account, Jupiter requires you to set up at least one MFA method.
If using the Authenticator app method, you will require a mobile device with a camera and have one of the following Two-Factor Apps downloaded:

Your MFA is only as strong as your email account — make sure it has a strong password too.
Email verification requires internet access. If you frequently work offline, set up an authenticator app as a backup.
Logging into Jupiter with MFA enabled
After you’ve successfully set up at least one MFA method, you will be asked to verify your identity with MFA every time you login.
If you are using a trusted device, you can click “Trust this device, I use it often” to skip MFA verification for 30 days. You'll still need your password — only the second factor is skipped.
Tip: Only use this on personal devices you control. Never check it on a shared, public, or borrowed computer.
MFA not working?
If none of your registered methods are working as expected, you can contact customer support to disable MFA for your current login session. You will be asked to provide a valid photo identification so we can confirm ownership of your account.
Important: On your subsequent logins, you will be required to setup at least one MFA method if you haven’t already done so in your Security settings.
