How to clear your cache

Clearing your cache and browsing history can resolve common issues you may encounter while using Jupiter. It’s often one of the first and most effective steps in troubleshooting.

💡Please be aware that these actions will log you out of most sites you have accessed using your internet browser.


How to clear your cache - Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome

2. At the top right, click More ((three vertical dots in upper right) and open "Settings"

3. Click on "Privacy and Security" and then select "Delete browsing history"

4. Choose a time range. To delete everything, select "All time" under the "More" dropdown

5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

6. Click on "Delete data".

How to clear your cache - Safari

1. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.

2. Choose Safari > Settings, then click Privacy

3. Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.

How to clear your cache - Firefox

1. Open your Firefox browser on your computer. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right of the screen. Now, click ‘Preferences’ in the drop-down list.

2. Choose the ‘Privacy and Security’ option from the list on the left-hand side of the screen.

3. Scroll through the list provided and click on ‘Cookies and Site Data’. When you’re done, click on ‘Clear Data’ to the right of the screen.

4. In the new pop-up window, select the option to clear ‘Cached web Content’. You can also choose to clear cookies and site data, but be aware that you may be signed out of all websites and will remove offline web content by selecting this option. When you’ve decided what data to clear, you can click on ‘Clear’ at the bottom of the window to finalize the process.

How to clear the cache completely on your mobile device

Step 1: Select settings

On the home screen, click ‘Settings.’

Step 2: Choose Safari

Now click on ‘Safari.’

Step 3: Clear cookies

At the bottom of this menu, click on ‘Clear history and website data.’

Step 4: Confirm changes

Finally, confirm the changes when prompted.
