You have the flexibility to move incorrectly uploaded documents between requests and borrowers to make sure you organize documents into the correct request and borrower assigned.
Follow the steps below:
1. Open the existing loan in Finmo.
2. Go to the “Documents” tab.
3. Select the document you would like to move.
4. In the “Actions” dropdown, click on the "Move file" option.
5. Select the document request and/or borrower you want to move the document to.
Note: If the document you want to move is not in an active document request, you must create a new document request first.
6. Click “Move”
7. The document will now move to the selected document request and borrower. Click on the document request in the new borrower's section and mark that request as "Accepted"
8. You have the option now to mark the original incorrect document request as "Needs attention" to prompt the borrower to upload the correct document, or you can delete that original request if you don't need it anymore.
Note: If you have already accepted a document, you will need to "Undo accept request" before you can move it. Then, you may follow the same steps outlined above.
