How to run AUS (Automated Underwriting System)

Access Automated Underwriting Services (AUS) in Jupiter to evaluate borrower applications.

Note: Currently, Freddie Mac (LPA) and Fannie Mae (DO) are both available. Loan officers must have the loan officer role and an NLMD ID set up to run AUS.

Running Fannie Mae (DU)

1. When in the loan, navigate to the "AUS" tab in the left navigation bar.

2. Address any validation errors and click the "Run DU" button.

3. The results will appear on the screen.

Running Freddie Mac (LPA)

1. When in the loan, navigate to the "AUS" tab in the left navigation bar.

2. Fix any validation errors and click the "Run LPA" button.

3. The results will appear on the screen.

Fixing required and recommended validations

1. If there are any errors or missing information, you will be prompted to make corrections.

2. Locate the outstanding information and either edit or add the required details in the Application section.

3. Select the AUS tab again, and click “Run again” after making the necessary corrections.

AUS submission history

Each time you submit to AUS, Jupiter records your last submission in the “Report history” section at the bottom of the AUS page.

This section includes the report status, AUS type, Case ID, date, time, and detailed findings report.
